Privacy Policy

stablebusinessbook.com is the official site for The Stable Business, a forthcoming book by Gary Tomchuk. The site is operated by Gary Tomchuk through Evolutionary Ventures, based in Ventura County, California.

Questions about this policy, or any request described below, can be sent to info@evolutionaryventures.com.

We keep collection deliberately small. Three kinds of information reach us:

• Email address — only if you type one into the book-list form on this site. That is the only field the form asks for.
• Usage data — anonymous visit statistics gathered by Google Analytics: which pages were viewed, how long a visit lasted, the browser and device type, the country or region a visit came from, and the page that referred the visitor.
• Messages you send us — anything you write to our email address, including the address itself.

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment details, and this site does not sell books or take payments.

Your email address is used to:

• Send the confirmation message that proves the sign-up was really you.
• Send occasional updates about the book — early chapters, framework insights, and launch information.
• Answer a question you have asked us.

Usage data is used to understand which parts of the site people actually read, so the writing and the ordering of pages can be improved. It is aggregate behaviour, not a profile of you.

This site uses Google Analytics (a Google Ads / GA4 property) to count visits and see which pages are read. Google sets cookies on your browser and may process the information it collects.

We do not attach your email address to your analytics record, and we do not use advertising remarketing lists built from this site.

You can stop analytics collection at any time: clear or block cookies in your browser settings, use a private browsing window, or install Google's official opt-out browser add-on. The site still works fully with cookies disabled.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. It is disclosed only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — companies that host the site, deliver our email, and measure traffic. They act on our instructions, are bound by contract, and may not use your information for their own purposes.
• Legal requirement — if we are obliged to disclose it by law, court order, or a valid government request.
• Business transfer — if the book or the business behind it is sold or reorganised, the book list may move with it. If that happens, list members are told before anything changes.

A book-list email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and for a short period afterwards so that an accidental deletion can be undone. Email you send us is kept as long as it takes to resolve the conversation. Analytics data is retained by Google for the storage period configured on our account, and then ages out automatically.

You stay in control of what we hold:

• Unsubscribe — every message we send contains a one-click unsubscribe link. No questions asked.
• Access or correct — ask us what we hold about your address and we will tell you.
• Delete — ask us to remove your address and we will, and confirm when it is done.
• Object — ask us to stop using your address for updates while keeping it on file for a specific purpose.

Send any of these to info@evolutionaryventures.com. We will act within 30 days and, where a request concerns deletion, will also tell any provider that holds a copy.

The site is served over HTTPS, access to the book list is limited to the people who need it, and administrative access is protected. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we keep only what we need and for no longer than we need it — the simplest protection there is.

This site is written for business owners, operators, and readers of business non-fiction. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to us and it will be deleted.

The business is based in Ventura County, California, and information is processed there. If you visit from elsewhere — including the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another state in the United States — you understand that your information may be processed in California, and you keep the rights your own law gives you, including the rights described under Your choices above.

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Where a change materially affects people already on the book list, we also announce it by email before it takes effect.

Write to info@evolutionaryventures.com for any privacy question, request, or complaint. If a request goes unresolved, you may raise it with the privacy regulator in your region.
